Hi Kids! My name is Sparkles, and I am Johnson County RFD #1's Fire Safety dog. One of my favorite things to do it to help   firefighters and Fire Corps teach fire safety! I love helping show children, just like you, how get low and go under smoke! I also love to ride on the fire trucks! It is so much fun! It is super important to have an escape plan and a meeting place! Your meeting place can be a fence, a mailbox, or even a tree. Just make sure that everyone in your home knows where the meeting place is and that you practice your escape plan! If your house is on fire, get out of the house quick! Get low on your hands and knees and go if there is smoke in your house. Remember, do not ever go back for anything, not even for a toy, your family, or even your pet! Most of all, remember to practice fire safety everyday and you will be super Junior Firefighters! Love, Sparkles
